Climbing to the highest of bushes looking for hidden worlds, I imagined what tales they needed to share. I beloved the liberty and untapped risk I felt being within the wild.
Again in 2011, I rediscovered this starvation for tales and started looking out to seek out that enchantment once more. Studying the language of crops, the outdated lore and the way our human story is intimately woven amongst crops.
Research and work throughout permaculture, horticulture and regenerative meals methods led to a prolonged immersion writing an MSc thesis, which introduced collectively a deepening curiosity in eco-therapy, plant intelligence and my ardour for wild crops.
Sitting with bushes, an invisible veil started to drop from my eyes, and the palate of greens took on new meanings; knowledge, meals and medication from the hedgerows.
My observe of plant connection was born. A observe that helps my psychological and bodily wellbeing greater than another.
Foraging and wild meals turned a gateway into exploring the world with new eyes, and heightened senses.
